Official Local Retailer Partner. South Downs National Park.

We are proud to announce that Partridge of Hampshire are the official local retailer partner for the South Downs National Park as part of the BMW Recharge in Nature project, a nationwide initiative that champions sustainability, electric mobility, and the protection of our natural landscapes.

This exciting partnership reflects our shared commitment to helping the extraordinary landscapes of the South Downs thrive for generations to come. As one of the UK’s most iconic and ecologically rich national parks, the South Downs is home to rolling hills, ancient woodlands, rare wildlife, and vibrant communities, and we're honoured to support its continued conservation and accessibility.

Through this collaboration, our focus will be on two key areas:

Raising funds for the Outdoor Learning Grant – an initiative that gives young people greater access to outdoor education and meaningful experiences in nature.

Supporting the development of a South Downs Charging Map – a unique resource that highlights scenic walks, trails, and beauty spots to explore while your BMW is recharging. It’s all about helping people reconnect with nature, sustainably.

This partnership also aligns perfectly with BMW’s ongoing mission to promote responsible travel through innovation, electrification, and environmental stewardship. With more drivers switching to electric vehicles, projects like Recharge in Nature are designed to make eco-friendly travel not only possible but inspiring.

We are excited to bring this initiative to life locally and to work closely with the South Downs National Park Authority to deliver meaningful impact throughout the region.

Together, we’re recharging the future — one journey at a time.
