What is the role?
Responsible for ensuring that all sold used vehicles are prepared within the time frames agreed with our customers to Approved Used Car standard
Manage the completion of all New Vehicle preparation to the requested criteria before handover date
Ensure that all prepared cars are delivered to site having completed Quality control checks and handed over to the Sales team.
Manage the progress of every sold vehicle through its preparation if not already complete at point of sale
Responsibilities:
Monitor the preparation of Sold New and Used vehicles daily
Work with all departments to ensure all sold cars are ready for the required handover date/time in a timely manor
Discuss/agree any late preparation costs for vehicles with the Sales Team prior to additional works commencing
Be available to hand the completed car t the Sales Team in time for the customer handover
Assist with vehicle movements between business premises and our off-site compound, ensure all vehicles are delivered by the expected time

Ensure all completed used cars are delivered to site having completed Quality Control checks and signed off by the Sales Team
Ensure Valeting standards are to company expectations
Ensure preparation is completed to an AUC standard, with no warning lights and bodywork issues rectified
Ensure every vehicle has the correct documentation and GDPR processes followed
Understanding and application of BMW brand values, knowledge of the company heritage and its products and basic customer service skills
Provide customer service in line with the brand values, Customer Promise and Employee Commitment
To ensure highest standard of courtesy and integrity when interacting with customers and members of the public to create outstanding customer confidence in the service offered by Partridge of Hampshire by ensuring a professional performance and exceptional commitment to customer care
To be polite and courteous to all customers and staff and to uphold the Partridge values at all times and enhance the name of Partridge where possible
Any other duties as and when required by senior company managers that are reasonably within the capabilities of the person and are aimed at achieving the company’s objectives and goals
Who you need to be?
To succeed in this role, you will be highly passionate about our brand, our standards and our vision.
Keep updated with product knowledge of BMW/BMW i/MINI brands and their competition, market conditions, competitor’s activities
Be able to organise your day and diary to meet sold car deadlines
The highest standards in personal appearance and hygiene as laid out in the Grooming Standards
Capable of conversing with others pleasantly, clearly and effectively
Knowledge of vehicle preparation processes
Be able to drive a variety of vehicles in a calm, safe and reassuring manner. Be able to demonstrate a history of driving free from excessive infringements and offences
Maintain an up to date knowledge of customer legislation, regulations and trade practices as well as vehicle legislation as it affects the industry
Ability to work with computer systems and a working knowledge of Excel
Hours
This is an onsite role, Monday – Friday from 08:00 – 17:30 (42.5 hours per week).
