What is the role? Reporting to the Bodyshop Manager, you will:

• Compile accurate vehicle damage appraisals and estimates on BMW and MINI vehicles, following manufacturer guidelines, work provider requirements and our internal processes, including warranty and transportation claims

• Carry out onsite estimates at the dealership, using both the main Bodyshop and our Smart repair capabilities

• Manage the repair journey for each customer, from booking and check in through to handover, following the BMW Approved Bodyshop process

• Keep customers and insurers updated daily, and liaise with motor engineers to negotiate costs and secure authorisations

• Follow up unconverted estimates and report weekly and at month end

• Prepare repair packs, process BMW warranty and damage claims, and submit accounts for payment promptly

• Take payment on retail repairs and arrange courtesy and hire vehicles

• Support Bodyshop reception at peak times and during absence, and help close down invoicing at month end

Who you need to be?

• Experienced in vehicle damage assessment and estimating, ideally within a manufacturer approved bodyshop

• Confident with estimating platforms, Audatex and GT Global, also dealer management systems; EMACS and Autoflow experience is an advantage

• A clear, calm communicator who can explain technical repairs without jargon

• Organised and accurate, able to manage multiple repairs and meet work provider SLAs

• Commercially minded, comfortable working to estimating targets and spotting additional sales opportunities

• Smart, professional and proud to represent the BMW and MINI brands

• Full UK driving licence

  Onsite, Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:30
